Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş met with İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu in his office in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. In this critical summit, which was held closed to the press and lasted approximately 50 minutes, important topics and legal regulations on Türkiye's agenda were discussed. Answering the questions of members of the press after the meeting, İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu listed his criticisms of the process, pointing out that important decisions were taken on "inappropriate grounds". Claiming that some political parties were informed about the content of the issue, but some facts were hidden from critical parties such as İYİ Party, Dervişoğlu expressed his reaction by saying, "Contrary to the expectations of the nation, it is absolutely not possible for us to directly accept the preparations carried out behind closed doors."

Referring to the steps planned to be taken within the scope of the "Terror-free Turkey" target, Dervişoğlu emphasized that the basic conditions that the National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy Commission has opposed since its establishment are still valid. Stating that they directly conveyed their concerns on this issue to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Kurtulmuş, during the meeting, Dervişoğlu said, "We clearly expressed our concerns and thoughts that the draft law may bring the Republic of Turkey to its knees against a terrorist organization or cause it to be perceived in this way by the public."

Answering the question of members of the press whether a calendar has been given as to when the legal regulations regarding the "Terror-Free Turkey" process will come to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Dervişoğlu stated that no concrete date has been shared. However, the İYİ Party Leader stated that he observed a significant haste on the part of the ruling party and said, "I observed that there was an urgency and a hasty style of behavior in the process. Although no timetable was given, I think the desired goal is for this regulation to become law before the Parliament goes into recess." Dervişoğlu left unanswered the questions about the internal developments in the CHP, stating that he did not want to intervene in the internal affairs of another political party.
