At the event held with the theme of "Independent Future: National Technology Move", Ahmet Akyol made a comprehensive presentation on the history and future of ASELSAN. While Akyol emphasized the importance of the goal of complete independence in the defense industry, he detailed the progress made by the company since its establishment. Europe's Security Concerns and Türkiye's Experience

Akyol stated that the security problems that Europe is facing today were experienced by Turkey in 1975. Pointing out that the Defense Industry Executive Committee meeting on May 14, 2004 was a turning point for the Turkish defense industry, Akyol stated that with the decisions taken at this meeting, the projects procured from abroad were transferred to domestic companies. ASELSAN is undergoing a significant transformation in defense technologies.
