Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was removed from his post as the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) after his arrest, made a new move that will shake things up in Turkish politics. İmamoğlu, who broke his silence for the first time about the "New Party", which was founded by 90 deputies who resigned from the CHP and whose chairmanship was Özgür Özel, gave very clear messages with the written message he published. Opening the door to a new era in politics, İmamoğlu called on all opposition elements to unite under one roof, with the emphasis on "New Generation Politics".

İmamoğlu stated that these values are red lines in order to protect the country's democratic gains and re-establish the rule of law.
