Emphasizing that Saudi Arabia always stands by the Yemeni people going through a difficult process, Maliki stated that this support against terrorist militias will continue with determination.

Noting that the air operations targeted certain military points in Hudeyde province, Maliki underlined that Hudeyde Port was definitely not targeted. Stating that all ports in Yemen are open to civilian commercial ships carrying food, fuel and construction materials, the spokesman stated that the airports continue to serve civilian flights. On the other hand, he stated that the Houthis victimized the people by blocking civilian flights to Sanaa International Airport, which is under their control.

Al-Mesira television channel, known for its closeness to the Houthis, claimed that coalition forces targeted the communication infrastructure in the city of Hudaydah and Kamaran Island. Local sources and social media users shared images of flames and smoke rising into the sky after the violent explosions at the weapons depots in Hudaydah. While the sounds of explosions heard repeatedly throughout the city caused great panic among the public, intense unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) activity was observed in the region.

Brigadier General Maliki stated that the operation was completed successfully and reiterated that if the Houthis target commercial ships again, the Arab Coalition will take much harsher measures and respond with determination to protect national interests and maritime security.
