Regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha announced that the UAV attack occurred in the city of Nikopol and its surroundings. While security measures were increased in the region, it was reported that the injured were transferred to the nearest hospitals and their treatment continued. Nikopol, known for its proximity to hot conflict lines since the beginning of the war, once again became the address of an attack targeting civilians.

They targeted the minibus carrying people who were going about their daily business."
