Gayrettepe-aeroport-Xalkali metrosi yo'lovchi rekordini yangiladi

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that a record number of passengers were carried on Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Halkalı Metro, Türkiye's longest and fastest metro line, on Monday, June 22. On this date, the line achieved significant success by serving 53 thousand 396 passengers.

New Metro Line Openings

Minister Uraloğlu reminded that the last stage of the line was put into service by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on June 19 and started to be operated by TCDD Taşımacılık since June 20. Before the Halkalı-Arnavutköy section came into service, the metro line had served more than 33 million passengers in total. Previously, the busiest day was recorded on April 30 with 47 thousand 925 passengers.

Performance of the Metro Line

Uraloğlu stated that the line gained the title of Türkiye's longest and fastest metro as the entire line passes underground. 22-iyun kuni erishilgan yangi rekord liniyaning mashhurligi ortib borayotganidan dalolat beradi. The newly opened Halkalı, Halkalı Stadium, Olympiad, Kayaşehir and Ibn Haldun University stations contributed significantly to this success.

Increase in the Number of Passengers

The Halkalı-Arnavutköy section, which was put into service on June 19, carried 56 thousand 555 passengers in three days. It was reported that the average daily number of passengers between Gayrettepe-Arnavutköy for the whole of 2026 was 35 thousand 949, but with the opening of the Halkalı-Arnavutköy line, this number increased by 33 percent to 47 thousand 762.

Contribution of Stations and Free Period

On June 22, Gayrettepe-İstanbul Aeroport-Xalkali Yo'nalishdagi eng yuqori zichlik Gayrettepe (22,7%) va Istanbul aeroporti (18,6%) stantsiyalarida kuzatildi. Yangi ochilgan Halkali stantsiyasi jami yo'lovchilarning 6,6 foizini, Kayashehir esa 5,6 foizini qabul qildi. Halkali-Arnavutköy liniyasining beshta ochilgan stansiyasida 31-iyulgacha bepul xizmat ko‘rsatilishi e’lon qilindi.
