Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, in her statement on social media, shared important information about the 'Women's Policies Consultation Meeting from the Values of Our Civilization to the Turkish Century' which she attended. In this meeting, he came together with AK Party Headquarters Women's Branch President Tuğba Işık Ercan and some MPs and stated that new policies that would strengthen the place of women in society were discussed.

Göktaş emphasized that women are one of the basic elements that shape the past, present and future of our civilization. With the decisions taken at the meeting, it is aimed for women to play a more active role in social and economic life. In this context, new strategies were developed and issues such as increasing women's participation in the workforce, expanding educational opportunities and strengthening their social rights were discussed.
