18-year-old Harun Baran, who went into the sea to cool off in the Maltepe district of Istanbul, was swept away by the current and disappeared. In the disastrous incident that took place on Küçükyalı Beach at around 18:00 on Monday, July 20, the young man who was taken out of the water with the efforts of the citizens around him died despite all the interventions made in the hospital where he was taken.

According to the information obtained, Harun Baran, who came from Tekirdağ's Çorlu district to visit his three friends in Istanbul, decided to swim in the sea to cool off due to the hot weather. Sud tibbiyot institutida o'tkazilgan otopsiyadan so'ng Horun Baranning jasadi qayg'urgan yaqinlari tomonidan qabul qilindi. Yoshligida hayotdan ko'z yumgan Baranning jasadi dafn qilish uchun tug'ilgan shahri Vanga ko'chirilgani ma'lum bo'ldi. "Hech kim qutqarishga jur'at eta olmadi"

Dahshatli voqea ortidan so'zlagan Harun Baranning qarindoshi Muhammed Kamer mintaqadagi xavfga e'tibor qaratdi. Kamer said, "While walking on the beach, he said that he knew how to swim and that he was going to jump into the sea. However, there is not much swimming in that area. He jumped in and drowned. I researched and learned that there had been many drowning cases in Maltepe Küçükyalı before. He said, 'I will swim in the sea, I know how to swim,' by his own decision, and as soon as he jumped in, he g‘oyib bo‘ldi.”dedi.

Expressing the panic and helplessness experienced at the time of the incident, Kamer said, "The area where he drowned is quite deep. People go into the water but cannot get out. He swam slowly on the edge of the stones, but there was no turning back when he jumped directly. There were people there who could intervene immediately, but no one dared. Then, two or three biker friends in the area ran to help and took him out of the water in about 5 minutes. The medical teams brought him back to life with heart massage, but the doctors stated that he was brain dead. He was taken to the hospital, but yesterday at 12:00. He emphasized the negligence and danger by saying "The news of his death came around 20.00.
