Tokayevin Ukrayna üçün Həll Təklifi: "Biz İstanbul Formula 2.0-a qayıtmalıyıq"
Qazaxıstan prezidenti Tokayev Rusiya lideri Putinlə görüşündə Ukrayna böhranı üçün “İstanbul Formula 2.0” təklif edib və münaqişənin dondurulmasını istəyib.
President of Kazakhstan Kasım Cömert Tokayev had a critical bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin within the scope of the Russia-Kazakhstan Regional Cooperation Forum held in Omsk, Russia. Making important evaluations about the Ukrainian crisis at the center of global diplomacy, Tokayev proposed a game-changing "Istanbul Formula 2.0" for the solution of the conflict. The Kazakh leader stated that he received many messages from the Western world and Europe regarding the current situation and emphasized that the key to peace is hidden in the negotiation ground of the past.
Ukrayna Münaqişəsinin Təbiəti və Regional Balanslar
Reminding that he had previously shared the signals from Western actors regarding the Ukraine issue with his Russian counterpart Putin, Tokayev made clear determinations about the nature of the crisis. Underlining that the current process is not a civil war, Tokayev said: "In my opinion, and as I have said from the very beginning, this is a conflict between states. It is not possible to talk about any civil war here." Stating that they have always approached the Ukrainian people, their rich culture and language with deep respect, the Kazakh leader stated that understanding the historical background of this conflict is much more complicated than other regional problems. Noting that the roots of the frozen conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the past are very clear and understandable historically, Tokayev stated that the current situation in Ukraine cannot be fully understood by many segments, including global actors.
"İstanbul Formula 2.0" ilə Sülhə Doğru Yeni Yol Xəritəsi
Referring to the high diplomatic flexibility displayed by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the summit with US President Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, Tokayev argued that a concrete step should be taken for peace. Suggesting that the Istanbul negotiations, which were held directly between Russia and Ukraine under the mediation of Türkiye in 2022 at the very beginning of the war and where significant progress was made, should be taken as basis, Tokayev said: "This is just my humble opinion. Since they are applying to me, perhaps it is necessary to freeze this conflict and return to the 'Istanbul formula 2.0'. Because very important results were achieved between the parties there. Sonra, təbii ki, Rusiya da daxil olmaqla, qlobal böyük dövlətlərin qarantiyası”. Bu çərçivədə çoxdan gözlənilən davamlı sülhə doğru irəliləmək üçün ən yaxşı addım olardı”
.Münaqişənin dondurulması beynəlxalq səviyyədə qəbul edilmiş bir üsuldur
Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan is not a country that looks at the Ukrainian issue from the outside and has nothing to do with it, but announced that they firmly rejected mediation offers. Stating that he believes that Russia has the power to solve its own strategic issues without the need for any external mediator, Tokayev reminded that the option of freezing the conflict is a method that has been successfully applied in international law and diplomacy before. Expressing his great sadness at the loss of lives of young people from both sides in the conflicts, the President of Kazakhstan said that the losses caused great damage to the gene pool of the brotherly peoples of Russia and Ukraine. Tokayev stated that the current situation only makes the common opponents of the two countries happy and argued that the conflicts should be stopped as soon as possible. In response to Tokayev, who stated that Kazakhstan would remain faithful to its strategic partnership and alliance relations with Russia despite all the difficulties, Russian President Putin stated that he would provide him with detailed information about the current developments on Ukraine.
