Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made statements about a large support package that facilitates access to medicines for pharmacists and citizens. Stating that they provided a total of 5 billion liras of aid in 2025, Minister Işıkhan stated that pharmacists and citizens can more easily access medicines and treatment methods.

Support Provided for Pharmacists

Minister Işıkhan emphasized that they have made continuous improvements in drug access, thanks to the agreements signed with the Social Security Institution (SGK) and Түрік фармацевтер қауымдастығы (TEB). He stated that they stand by pharmacists, especially with the 5 billion lira support provided in 2025. It was noted that such supports reduce the financial burden of pharmacists and enable citizens to access medicines under more favorable conditions.

The Role of Protocols in Access to Medicines

In his social media post, Minister Işıkhan drew attention to the importance of the protocols made between SGK and TEB. He stated that thanks to these protocols, improvements have been made in drug access in every period, thus providing significant convenience for citizens to access treatment.
